Outreach

Mission: The mission of the Christian Outreach Committee is to share the love of Christ through service to the poor. This takes many forms, including donations of cash and goods (food, clothing, school supplies and books) to meet their needs. The Outreach Committee generally focuses its efforts on local community needs, extending from Westchester County to New York City. However, the Committee has donated funds to support missionaries as far away as Central America.
Committee: The Committee is comprised of members of the Parish who volunteer their time to support the activities of the Committee.
Outreach Sundays: There are four major collections a year: Back to School, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Donations of cash, food and other items are collected after each Mass. In addition to the Sunday Outreach Collections, there are specific collections sprearheaded by the Religious Education, Youth Group and the Women's Association throughout the year.
Special Outreach Collections include items sent to those in active duty in the Armed Forces; homeless shelters for adults and specific shelters for that include young children; meal preparation for local homeless task force; support of the Westchester Food bank and the Mt. Kisco Food Pantry and Neighbors Link.
The Annual Giving Tree supplies gift cards for our parish families and the Women's Association "Helping Hands" also donates to parish families as well.
If you are interested in joining our Outreach Committee, please contact the Parish Office at 914 238 3260.
